TAJIKISTAN IS THE HOMELAND OF NOWRÜZ

On March 15, the Institute of Tourism of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan celebrated the holiday of Navruz with great pomp and splendor.
The festive event was attended by heads of structural units of the university, teachers, students, as well as foreign students from India.
The Deputy Rector for Educational Affairs, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Rakhimov Mirzohid Abduvohidovich opened the event with an opening speech and expressed his thoughts on the history and good virtues of Navruz, its role in preserving the national identity and values ​​of Tajikistan, as well as the country's cultural policy during the period of Independence under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. He also recalled the role of Navruz in the revival of national traditions, the development of folk crafts, and the international splendor and splendor of this ancient holiday.
The cultural and humorous program of the students added color and freshness to the event, making the festive atmosphere warm and sincere. In the exhibition corner, organized at the initiative of the administration of the Institute of Tourism, samples of national costumes and handicrafts, which represent the history and culture of the Tajik nation, were exhibited. At the end of the event, the Indian students expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the university and the institute for holding such cultural events.
